WEBSITE REDESIGN
Protecting 30,000 acres for future generations
The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority conserves the natural environment, supports agriculture and connects people to nature, by protecting open spaces, natural areas and working farms and ranches for future generations.
OSA reached out to us to redesign their website to help make trails and open space information more accessible to the community. We began the project through an in depth audit of the original website to better understand where the areas for opportunity existed. Having redesigned websites for Midpeninsula Open Space District and East Bay Regional Parks District, we were uniquely positioned to do this with ease, while also centering equity values in our audit.

VISUAL REDESIGN
Building a website for the nature curious
Upon conducting the website audit, we began building the sitemap, wireframes and visual identity of the new website. This went through a vetting process with the OSA team to ensure the new website would be reflective of their needs as well as the needs of those who are new and long-time visitors to the various open space preserves in Santa Clara County.
Once the base build of the website was complete, we also developed a trail and open space safety alert system, improved accessibility information for visitors and added greater searchability across events and resources on the website.
VISUAL REDESIGN
Deepening our partnership
We look forward to continuing to support OSA through ongoing support and website maintenance for years to come.
