Key Learnings: In the contest for narrative power, we can only defeat awful stories with bold vision. Now is the time to build strategic pathways and dream up radical futures that renew hope and inspire action.

Over 8, 75 minute sessions, this biweekly (i.e. twice a month) cohort is a place for communications practitioners and campaign strategists to learn new tools, workshop narrative strategies, and sharpen skills together with regular practice in a shared space. A transformative journey to unlock your communications potential awaits you!

First cohort starts 5/15 and goes every two weeks: 5/15, 5/29, 6/12, 6/26, 8/28, 9/11, 9/25, 10/9. We will host office hours in July, dates will be set by cohort members. (We will add these to your calendar invite)

Topics might include:

  • Grounding in strategy and building alignment: Goals and Audiences
  • Narrative Power Analysis
  • Creating meaningful stories and messages
  • Strategic and creative interventions
  • Practicing radical imagination

Participating in rootid’s communications cohort has been a deeply connective and enlightening experience. I’ve appreciated being in community with other communications leaders where a diversity of wisdom is shared and resonant support offered. There hasn’t been a cohort meeting I’ve left without some new insight or tool gained that I could immediately integrate into my work at KTA. Grateful to rootid for convening and curating such a special space!

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellations are accepted up until a month before the start of the cohort. We want to help create a community and knowing at least a month ahead allows us to search for someone else to fill your spot. Consider if there is someone else in your organization or a partner that can fill your spot. Please reach out to us at hello@rootid.com if something comes up. We’ll do our best to workshop ideas.

We understand things come up. Consider sending someone in your place to share ideas. We will also share all resources after the session.
