Full Circle Fund

We began our strategic partnership with Full Circle Fund in the Fall of 2016. The organization was primed with new leadership and a renewed vision.
Though always a member-driven, philanthropic nonprofit, the board and staff wanted to do a better job of being inclusive of varying communities as well as more effectively illustrate their ability to convene, connect and catalyze Bay Area changemakers.
We approached this project a little differently than usual, taking a more iterative and agile approach rather moving directly into logo redesign and brand relaunch. Instead, we began our partnership through a full communications audit and then worked collaboratively to implement new messaging and a revitalized visual language across their communications assets—testing live with stakeholders and members in real time and making adjustments as we went.
The final unveiling of the unified and cohesive branding, identity, print materials and website took place during their new UNITE event in October 2017.
At that point in the overall process, the final logo felt like an inevitable outcome since all stakeholders had been included throughout the process, providing insight and feedback along the way.

Our Capacity Building Partnership
Alongside our rebranding of the organization, we worked with the Full Circle Fund leadership team to co-create a Nonprofit Capacity Building Workshops Series that continues to flourish.
What began as an idea to build out a series of workshops that would benefit nonprofits and provide Full Circle Fund members opportunities for more flexible engagements, has turned into a community collaboration of like-minded strategic partners and a communications capacity building curriculum that in 2018 engaged 15 nonprofit organizations and 60 volunteers over a 2-day intensive (BrandUP).
